Terms and Conditions

1. Membership Registration and Use: Participation in the Schutz rewards program (“Program”) and the benefits of the Program are offered at the sole discretion of Arzz International, Inc. (“Schutz,” “us,” or “our”). By joining the Program and becoming a Member (defined below), you agree that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms") and by any changes or modifications that we may make hereto as well as all other terms of use and policies incorporated by reference. 

Please review these Terms and the related frequently asked questions (“FAQs”) section frequently to understand the terms and conditions of the Program as they may change from time to time. When we make revisions or modifications to the Terms or related FAQs, they will be posted on the website at www.schutz-shoes.com (the “Website”) and will be effective immediately upon posting and will supersede all prior versions of these Terms and/or related FAQs. These Terms do not alter in any way the terms or conditions of any other agreement that you may have with us, including any agreement for products or services. 

By enrollment in the Program, you also agree to be bound by our Website Privacy Policy (https://schutz-shoes.com/pages/privacy-policy) (the “Privacy Policy”)  and Website Terms of Use (https://schutz-shoes.com/pages/terms-and-conditions), which are incorporated herein by reference. Your continued participation in the Program after the posting of any revisions to its Terms and/or related FAQs will confirm your acceptance of and agreement to be bound by the modified Terms and/or related FAQs.  

Eligible individuals (as described below) may enroll in-store at a Schutz retail location or via the Website. In-store enrollees must still register online to have full membership access to Program account activity, Rewards (defined below) and benefits. No purchase is necessary to join the Program. Program registration and participation is void where prohibited.   Members are required to create an account on the Website and sign-in using the e-mail address and password associated with the Membership Account.  To receive points updates, redemption options and any other information regarding the Program, Members must opt-in for Schutz e-mail and SMS messaging marketing communications, either through the Website pop-up, the Website footer or during a purchase.  

2. Eligibility: Only individuals over eighteen (18) years of age who are legal residents, of any physically located within, the fifty (50) United States or District of Columbia, may become members (“Members,” “you” or “your”) in the Program. Limit one (1) account per individual.  No entities, groups, associations, businesses or resellers may participate in the Program. None of Schutz’s (and its parents’, subsidiaries’ and/or affiliates’) officers, directors and employees may participate in the Program. Those who are not eligible to participate in the Program are prohibited from accessing, using and registering for the Program.  Company reserves the right to disqualify any Member from participating in the Program if, in its sole judgment, that Member appears to be violating these Terms, making purchases for a business or for resale, manipulating the Program, making excessive returns, or otherwise acting in a manner inconsistent with the Program’s intent.  If a Member is disqualified, such Member will forfeit their points and all outstanding Rewards. Eligible individuals who are registered users of the Schutz Website (including, without limitation, those who are opted-in to receive e-mail and SMS marketing communications from Schutz) as of November 15, 2023 will be automatically enrolled in the Program. Members may opt out of the Program at any time by following the instructions provided below.                        

3. Accumulating Points. Once enrolled in the Program, Members may accumulate points in his/her points account, as described below, that may be issued as Schutz credits to be used towards purchases at Schutz retail locations and/or via the Website (“Reward”).  Points may be accumulated by any of the following methods (or such other methods as Schutz may offer from time-to-time):

  • Newsletter Subscription. Each member will acumulate 100 points for subscribing on Schutz newsletter.
  • Product Reviews.  For each product review a Member makes on a Schutz product purchased at a Schutz retail location or via the Website, the Member will accumulate 30 points. Limit one review per product; up to four (4) reviews per month per account. Member must be logged in to Member’s Schutz account at the time of review. 
  • Birthday Bonus.  As a special birthday gift to our Members, each year, Members will accumulate 1000 points on their respective birthdays.
  • Follow Us on Social Media. If a Member follows our Instagram account using his/her personal Instagram account for such Member will accumulate 100 points.     
  • On Purchases. Members may accumulate points (5 points for every $1 spent, rounded down to the nearest whole number) on Net Purchases (defined below) of Schutz merchandise at Schutz retail locations and/or via the Website. All activity on a Member’s account, no matter who enters into the transaction, will be treated as activity of the Member.  To accumulate points on your account when making an in-store purchase at a Schutz retail location, you must provide the phone number and/or email address associated with your account.  When shopping online via the Website you must be logged into your Schutz account immediately prior to completing your purchase transaction. No points will be awarded for any purchase that does not comply with these Terms. Returns and other adjustments, such as a price adjustment may reduce or eliminate your points balance. “Net Purchases” means purchases of Schutz merchandise in-store at Schutz retail locations and/or via the Website during the period commencing on or after October 1, 2023, less all sales tax, redeemed Rewards (defined below) or gift cards, shipping and handling fees, returns, price adjustments and other discounts.  

4. Tiers: What are the different program tiers, and what's the process to move up?

The program has four tiers based on your points:

  1. Essential (10+ points): Free economy shipping on orders of $100+ and 1,000 birthday points.
  2. Trendy (200+ points): Free shipping on orders of $100+, early access to new arrivals, special sales, and exclusive points days.
  3. Bold (400+ points): Free shipping, 1,500 birthday points, and priority customer support.
  4. Schutzy (800+ points): Free shipping, 2,000 birthday points, event invitations, special gifts, and additional perks.

5.Opting-Out of the Program: To opt out, please send us an email at customercare@schutzusa.com requesting to opt-out of our Program. Once the opt-out request is confirmed by our customer service team, all points, Rewards and benefits will be forfeited. If a Member has a negative point balance at the time of opt-out, or the Member’s membership is otherwise terminated for any reason, the negative point balance will remain indefinitely; if the Member rejoins the Program, the negative point balance will still appear in the Member’s account.

6. Issuing RewardsIf your points account balance reaches at least 500 points as a result of a purchase at a Schutz retail location, we will notify you of the value of your Reward on your e-mail (registered e-mail) and you will be eligible to redeem your points (via the Website, only) for a Reward beginning within fifteen (15) days. If your points account balance reaches 500 points with a purchase via the Website, within fifteen (15) days, you will receive notifications via e-mail and your account.  The Reward will be activated, and you may begin using it on the day you receive the notification or email.  If you do not have a valid email address associated with your account, your points will remain in your account and not be converted to a Reward until you add your email address to your account.  We will only issue one Reward per day for all the Reward value you accumulated as of the previous day.  If someone other than you uses your account to make the purchase that causes your points account balance to reach 500 points, that person, and not you, will be notified about the available Reward.

7. Reward Redemption: Rewards expire (on a rolling basis) twelve (12) months from the date issued and will be valid only through the expiration date specified. Rewards may be used to purchase Schutz merchandise at Schutz retail locations and/or via the Website (as opposed to at a Schutz retail location). Any unused value remaining on a Reward after the expiration date will be forfeited. Rewards may not be exchanged for cash. To redeem a Reward on the Website, you must have a www.schutz-shoes.com account.

8. Termination of or Change in ProgramSchutz may terminate the Program at any time, with or without notice, which may result in loss of accumulated points account value and the cancellation of all benefits and privileges associated with the Program. Schutz reserves the right to limit, delete or change any of the rules, terms, conditions, and benefits of the Program at its sole discretion, with or without notice. Interpretation of these Terms will be at the sole discretion of Schutz, whose decision will be final. Schutz has the right to close your points account for any reason.

9. Additional Terms: Schutz is not responsible for stolen or expired Rewards. Once issued, the value on a Reward, active or expired, will not be credited back to your points account balance. Any tax liability connected with receipt or use of any Reward is the Member’s responsibility. Points and Rewards are not transferable in the event of death, as part of a domestic relations matter, or for any other reason. The sale or barter of any points or any Reward is prohibited. Events beyond Schutz’s control, such as computer equipment or electronic data transmission failure, strikes, acts of God, civil disturbance, terrorism or war, which may materially affect our ability to perform, will allow us to suspend or terminate the Program.

10. Release of Information: By enrolling in the Program, you consent to the release of information to third parties to carry out the Program.

11. Change to Your Account Information: You must advise Schutz of any change in your name or the address, phone number, and/or email address associated with your points account. Please contact customer service at the e-mail address and/or phone number provided below to update this information. Schutz is not liable for Reward notices sent to an outdated email address if you fail to provide us with your current email address.

12. 13. Privacy; Third Party Terms: We value and respect your privacy. The personal information that we collect from you in connection with the Program is subject to our Privacy Policy (https://schutz-shoes.com/pages/privacy-policy) and will be used and disclosed by us for the purpose of administration of the Program, providing you with any Rewards or benefits that you redeem under the Program, marketing in connection with the Program, other marketing communications that you have opted in to receive and as otherwise permitted by our Privacy Policy. Please note, the Program is administered by our third party service provider, Zinrelo. As such, the personal information you provide in connection with the Program is also subject to Zinrelo's Privacy Notice, Cookies Policy, and other data and privacy terms (“Zinrelo’s Privacy Terms”) as well as Zinrelo’s Terms of Service, all of which can be found at https://www.zinrelo.com/platform/compliance/. By signing up for our Rewards Program, you represent that you have reviewed and agreed to Zinrelo’s Privacy Terms and Zinrelo’s Terms of Service.   

14. Governing Law: These Terms are governed by New York state law, without regard to conflict of laws principles that would result in the application of laws of another jurisdiction.

15. Disputes: YOU AGREE THAT NO CLAIMS OR CAUSES OF ACTION ARISING OUT OF, OR RELATED TO, THESE TERMS, YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE PROGRAM AND/OR YOUR REDEMPTION OR USE OF ANY REWARD OR BENEFIT UNDER THE PROGRAM, MAY BE BROUGHT BY YOU MORE THAN ONE (1) YEAR AFTER THE CLAIM OR CAUSE OF ACTION AROSE. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IF YOU HAVE A DISPUTE WITH US REGARDING THE PROGRAM OR ARE DISSATISFIED WITH THE PROGRAM, YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY WILL BE TERMINATION OF YOUR MEMBERSHIP IN THE PROGRAM AND WE WILL HAVE NO OTHER OBLIGATION, LIABILITY OR RESPONSIBILITY TO YOU.
